Elyce Kirchner,

co-founder

Storyteller with 20 years of delivering award-winning news stories, enterprise features and investigative series for network broadcast television, social media, and web.

Elyce knew from a young age that she didn’t want a desk job where she was doing the same thing every day. As her mother says, “she never outgrew of the “why” phase” because she has always been curious about the world and wants to learn. She thrives on fast-paced, high impact, continuous learning, and being in the room where the big stories are being told. Elyce has two decades of experience telling stories and turning those stories into engaging video content for network television and social platforms. She’s an Emmy, Associated Press, and National Headliner Award-winning journalist, a host, and a media consultant. In front of the camera, she has logged hundreds of hours of live television and conducted thousands of on-camera interviews. Her reporting as an investigative journalist has prompted state and federal legislative change, improved safety standards, and forced policy change. Diablo Magazine also highlighted Elyce for her achievements in the "40 Under 40" September 2016 Issue.  She now uses her experience to coach clients on how to exude more confidence and command on television, digital platforms, and in front of audiences.

Elyce reveals to clients the questions most likely to be asked and then helps them formulate the most compelling quotes, sound bites, and company messaging to incorporate into their responses. She loves empowering clients to engage in the chess match that is journalism. Long before any media interaction, she helps clients figure out what their story is and how to say it in a way that gets people to listen and pay attention. Providing sound strategies for handling crises is also a resource she has developed at Timeline Media Group. Elyce is also an expert in public speaking and has hosted high profile live events. As part of her coaching, she helps clients find their authentic narrative and then teaches the necessary skills to enable them to deliver it with confidence and persuasiveness.

Elyce is a fourth-generation San Francisco native who attended St. Ignatius College Preparatory in the city. She is a former Division One college athlete who received soccer scholarships at Tulane University and at the University of Oregon, where she attended her freshman year. She earned a master’s degree in journalism from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Business from Tulane University in New Orleans. When she’s not working with clients, Elyce enjoys spending time with her husband and her two daughters and coaching youth soccer.

Jeff Clayton,

co-founder

An award winning photographer/editor.

Jeff was so young when he started his career as a photojournalist he once had a veteran reporter buy him a Happy Meal to mark the end of their first day together. A cameraman in one of the biggest news markets in the country at the age of 23, Jeff hit the jackpot of finding a job that didn’t feel like work. He learned early on that it’s ok to be wrong, and it’s ok to make mistakes. It’s how you respond to the mistakes and use them to do better the next time that makes all the difference. When you ask him why everyone he works with immediately knows they’re in good hands, he says people are drawn to his authenticity and his commitment to honesty and integrity. He learned the craft of using the camera to tell a story with pictures from old-school journalists who created news as a public service, and he likes teaching industry leaders how to maximize the impact of their message by giving them insight into the field of media from the inside out. He shares his insider knowledge so you can come in and focus on what you do, letting him guide you in finding the right sound bite based on decades of experience that have honed his eyes and ears to recognize the moment that will grab audiences' attention.

Jeff is an award-winning photographer and editor and a documentary film editor. Most recently,  he edited the documentary “Edge of Success,” which takes a critical look at the burgeoning teenage mental health crisis in Palo Alto, California. He has nearly 20 years of experience working at various networks, including ABC, FOX, CBS, and NBC in Los Angeles, Portland, and San Francisco. Jeff received a regional Emmy Award for his shooting and editing. Jeff has also experience in the entertainment industry. He worked as a camera operator for the SyFy channel award-winning show Face Off, which won a TV Choice Award. Jeff enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and three amazing boys. He also loves coaching youth baseball.
